ABMA Conference Hosting and Presenting

Interested in Hosting a Conference?

Would your zoological institution be interested in hosting an ABMA conference?  We'd love to visit you!
This can be a great way to not only highlight a facility (or two) but your city as well.  Preferably two members of the facility will need to take on increased roles in the ABMA.  An ABMA vice president coordinates the logistics of the conference on the board level.  The conference chair will assist the ABMA vice president and coordinate the conference on the zoo level.

If you are interested in this prospect, please

Interested in Presenting?

Are you interested in sharing your training and/or enrichment accomplishments at an upcoming ABMA Conference?  Every spring the ABMA has an annual conference which is made up of colleagues and people interested in the behavior management field that would like to share their work.  Presentations are either via a 20 minute PowerPoint or in a poster format.  There is an abstract submission process with a committee that reviews and selects paper and poster presentations for each conference.  We are always looking for speakers to share their work- new training techniques or ideas, enrichment strategies, behavior management with a variety of taxa, etc.  You can always look on our conference page for the latest information on upcoming conferences, abstract deadlines, and the program schedule.
