Transportation
AIRLINE INFORMATION The 2015 ABMA conference will take place in several cities in southern Denmark.  We suggest flying into Copenhagen International Airport (CPH).  Depending on your location it may be cheaper to fly into a larger city (London, Paris, Hamburg, Amsterdam, etc...) then take a short plane trip to Copenhagen instead of looking for a direct flight to Copenhagen.  There is also a smaller international airport near Copenhagen- Billund Airport (BLL).  This airport does not have train service so you will need to rent a car to get from Billund airport to Nyborg or take a taxi to CPH and take the train there. If you are traveling from the USA and won't be flying directly to Copenhagen, we suggest changing planes in Europe to avoid having to go through customs in the USA. TRAIN INFORMATION To reach the conference hotel- Nyborg Strand- you can take the train from Copenhagen airport (CPH) to Nyborg Station which is a short walk to the hotel.  A one-way train ticket from CPH to Nyborg Station is $50 US. Buy your train ticket online: http://www.dsb.dk/en/#open You can pay with Visa, Eurocard and Mastercard.  Type FROM: “Kastrup Lufthavn” (CPH Airport in Danish) and TO: “Nyborg St.”  If Kastrup Lufthavn is not recognized you can try Kobenhavns Lufthavn or CPH.  The site will say “Please select number of reserved seats” – if you do not want to reserve a seat (costs 30 DKK extra) – you just click on “0 seat reservations”.  A seat reservation guarantees you an assigned seat, just like on an airplane.  Some train routes do not allow seat reservations, but the website will notify you of that.  Most likely going from CPH to the main train station you will not be allowed to reserve a seat as these trains are smaller and designed for transporting people short distances.  You do not have to reserve a seat to ride the train but sometimes on a crowded buy lexapro no prescription train (usually at rush hour) it can be standing room only.  If you pay for a seat reservation, your seat number will be printed on your train ticket after you pay. As you are choosing your route to Nyborg, a direct route with no stops is offered once every hour.  We suggest taking this train.  Trains with the letters "IC" stands for InterCity trains.  These are the fastest trains in Denmark and usually have the fewest stops.  If you have to change trains you will note on the route a change in train number.  You will most likely transfer at Copenhagen's main train station- København H.  All the tracks are under the station building. You have to go up the stairs from your current train and go to the stairs that go down to the track where the train to Nyborg departs from – NORMALLY it’s track 6 or 8, but ask someone on the first train (such as the conductor) or at the main station, because it can change.  Remember people in Denmark are very friendly and speak good English!   Buy train ticket when you arrive in Copenhagen Airport:   The train ticket office is located in Terminal 3 above the railway station. Getting from Copenhagen airport (CPH) to Nyborg Station: (~1 hour 40 minutes by train) The train platform is located under the same roof as Terminal 3.CPH termimal 3   Walking from Nyborg train station to Nyborg Strand Hotel: (directions in google maps) Or use the nature path, if walking from Nyborg train station:  For guests walking to Nyborg Strand Hotel from Nyborg train station you can easily use the walking path called "Naturstien". You will see the sign boards leading you to "Natursti til og fra hotellet". The walking distance is about 10 min if you walk in a fast pace. It is a tarmac path with lighting the whole way.
